Kids activities in Watertown, MA

Four separate youth fencing clubs operate inside town limits — Jovanovic, Fencing Academy of Boston, New England Fencing Alliance and Allez — the densest concentration in Greater Boston. Families drive in from across MetroWest for foil and saber training, and the clubs differ more in coaching temperament than in curriculum, so it’s worth trying two before committing.

Honestly, few. Vivace Music School and School of Rock both run music camps in town, and School of Rock adds February and April vacation intensives — but Watertown has no large traditional day camp of its own. Most families pair a local specialty week with a bigger camp in Newton, Waltham, Belmont or Cambridge. Our summer camp directory lists 460+ options within driving distance.

Two trampoline parks (Launch and Sky Zone at 90 Pleasant St) plus Central Rock Gym’s climbing walls at 74 Acton St cover most ages, and the John A. Ryan Skating Arena runs public skating year-round. All four also host birthday parties.
