Everything parents ask about finding kids' classes, camps, tutors, birthday parties and family events across Greater Boston.
Getting started
GOkidOZ is a free, parent-curated directory of children's activities across Greater Boston. We bring together classes, after-school programs, summer and vacation camps, tutors, birthday-party vendors, museums and family events in one place — every listing organized by town, age and activity so parents can stop digging through dozens of websites.
Yes. GOkidOZ is completely free for families. You can browse and filter every listing, view contact details, and click straight through to each provider's website at no cost. We don't charge parents and you don't need an account to browse.
GOkidOZ focuses on Greater Boston and Eastern Massachusetts — including Wellesley, Newton, Brookline, Needham, Natick, Framingham, Cambridge, Somerville, Boston, Belmont, Arlington, Lexington, Waltham, Watertown, the North Shore, South Shore, MetroWest, Cape Cod and Central Massachusetts. Most directories let you filter by your specific town.
No account is needed to browse or filter listings. You can optionally sign up for our free weekly email to get new camps, events and registration deadlines delivered to your inbox.
Finding activities
Open any directory — like Programs, Tutors, or Summer Camps — and use the Town filter to show only options in or near your town. You can also filter by age, category, price and (for camps) schedule. Many pages include an interactive map so you can see exactly where each program is located.
A wide range: music lessons (piano, violin, guitar, drums and more), sports (soccer, tennis, gymnastics, swimming, martial arts, table tennis), STEM and coding/robotics, art and pottery, chess, dance, theatre, cooking, languages including Russian, plus tutoring, special-needs support, museums, libraries and family outings.
From toddlers and preschoolers (some programs start at 18 months or even younger) all the way through high school teens. Most listings show a specific age range, and camp and class directories let you filter by your child's age.
Yes. Many listings are free or low-cost — including public library programs, town recreation departments, YMCA and Boys & Girls Club offerings, free community classes, and nonprofit programs. Camp and vendor directories include a price filter so you can find budget-friendly options.
Summer & vacation camps
Visit the Summer Camps page, which lists 340+ vetted Greater Boston camps. Filter by town, age, category (sports, STEM, arts, cooking, academics and more), and schedule (full day, half day, single day). Each listing links directly to the camp's site to register.
Yes — our Vacation Camps page covers February, April and other school-break camps. Filter by break period, town and age to find programs that run when school is out.
Traditional day camps, sports camps (soccer, tennis, basketball, gymnastics, swimming, multi-sport), STEM and LEGO robotics, arts and pottery, cooking and culinary, theatre and performing arts, nature and outdoor, academic enrichment and learning programs, plus specialty and residential camps.
Tutors & academics
Visit the Tutors page and filter by subject (math, reading, writing, test prep, languages), format (in-person center or online platform), town and price. Listings include established centers, 1-on-1 platforms, and specialists in learning differences and executive-function coaching.
Yes. We list tutors and centers that specialize in dyslexia, ADHD, autism and executive-function coaching — including Orton-Gillingham reading specialists and academic-coaching programs. The After-School page also has a dedicated special-needs section.
Yes — the Russian page covers heritage schools, immersion programs, weekend schools and online tutors for kids. We also list English/ESL and Spanish programs on the Tutors page.
Birthday parties & events
The Birthday Planning page lists 120+ vetted vendors — party venues, entertainers, balloon artists, face painters, cooking and art studios, photo booths, custom cakes, bouncy castles, petting zoos and mobile experiences. Filter by category, town, price and rating.
Check the Calendar and Fun Events pages for concerts, theatre, ballet, festivals, museum programs and seasonal happenings for kids — updated regularly and searchable by type.
Listings & trust
Listings are hand-picked and checked by local parents. We verify that programs serve Massachusetts families, include real addresses, phone numbers and direct website links, and refresh listings regularly. We're an independent directory — we link out to each provider so you can confirm current details directly.
No. GOkidOZ is a directory and information resource — we don't operate most activities listed. Prices, schedules and availability are set by each provider and can change, so always confirm details directly with them before registering.
We're always adding Greater Boston programs that serve kids and families. Contact us with your program details and we'll review it for inclusion.
We add new programs, camps and events on an ongoing basis and refresh the calendar and seasonal camp listings regularly throughout the year — so summer camps appear in winter and spring, and vacation-week camps appear ahead of each school break.
