Dedham Community House runs a fall youth soccer program for the youngest players, led by Brian Kelly of Be Ahead of the Game on the DCH playing field at 671 High Street, Dedham. Toddler Soccer (ages 3–4) introduces the game through music, movement, games and obstacle courses, building kicking, dribbling, balance, coordination and turn-taking — no experience needed, and parents/caregivers are welcome to watch from the sidelines. Preschool Soccer (ages 5–6) builds on those basics with drills and group play focused on dribbling, ball control, purposeful kicking, agility and teamwork; new and returning players are both welcome. Both run Saturdays this fall on Sept 19 & 26 and Oct 3, 17 & 24 (no class Oct 10) — $120 for 5 classes. Spots are limited; register at dchma.org/programs.
Two age groups: Toddler Soccer for ages 3–4 (Saturdays 10:30–11:15 AM) and Preschool Soccer for ages 5–6 (Saturdays 11:15 AM–12 PM). No experience is needed for either, and new and returning players are both welcome in the preschool group.
