🌾 Farm and forestry skills on a working Weston farm
Land’s Sake’s Discovery programs run 9am–1pm during the February, April and August vacation weeks, and you can sign up for one day or all four. In February the kids enjoy the snow and head inside to make warm, toasty treats; in April they are out in the garden planting seeds. Land’s Sake 2026 Family-level members get 10% off, and financial aid is available. The farm’s page lists 2026 dates of April 20–24 and August 24–28; February 2027 dates were not posted when we checked. See also its after-school programs. Land’s Sake runs vacation-week programs alongside its after-school offerings for kids in grades K–12, teaching farm and forestry skills on a working nonprofit farm. Days are spent outdoors — tending the education garden, working in the woodlot, meeting animals and cooking with what the farm grows. High-school students can move into internships and leadership roles.
