Natick Community Organic Farm (NCOF) is a nonprofit, certified-organic farm that runs hands-on programs for kids through the school year, the summer and the February and April school vacations. Its vacation-week programs range from free-range play for preschoolers to planting, collecting eggs, mending fences and other farm tasks for older children.

February Vacation Explorers (ages 3–5) take place in Gnome Woods: sledding, building snow friends, warming up by the campfire and playing in the forest forts, with books, simple crafts, an impromptu nature lesson and maybe a farm animal visit. February Vacation Farmers (ages 5–10) care for the animals, warm up in the greenhouse, make winter crafts, whip up treats, explore the woodlands and help tap sugar maples if the weather is right.

April Vacation Explorers (ages 3–5) explore the forest as it wakes up from winter, check out the pond’s edge and play in the forest forts.

Members at the Crofter level and above get priority registration and 20% off youth programs for a year. Registration and current dates are on the farm’s Summer & Vacation Weeks page; February 2027 dates were not posted when we checked.
