Election Day, Veterans Day, the day after Thanksgiving and December break: where kids can spend a day off school, with the ages, prices and phone numbers each provider publishes.
The school calendar has a way of surprising everyone at once. A Tuesday in early November, a Wednesday in the middle of the month, the Friday after Thanksgiving: the office is open, the school is not, and somebody has to be somewhere. Most parents find out about the good options the week they need them, and by then the spots are gone.
This guide gathers the camps and programs on GOkidOZ that run when school does not. It starts with the single days off in November, moves to December break, and ends with where to look for February and April. Districts set their own calendars, so check yours before you book. Each listing links to its own page, and each page links to the provider.
Election Day falls on Tuesday, November 3. Veterans Day is Wednesday, November 11. Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26, which makes Friday, November 27 the day after. Three programs below cover days like these.
